Vivenza Housing Complex

This project was done in collaboration with Mariana Maciel and Adriana Lara as part of the "Cátedra Ucalli". Ucalli is one of the main real estate developers in Mexico, and one of their housing complexes in Monterrey is "Vivenza". This housing unit was designed for middle-income dwellers; however, a double height was used in the design, giving it a characteristic that is usually exclusive to high-income dwellers. In addition, two facade options were proposed to Ucalli.

The design responds to the existing architecture in the neighborhood, in order to respect the previous designs. Another characteristic is that the structure is prepared to build a third floor as the family's economic possibilities and needs evolve.
