TORRE SANTA LUCÍA

This project was done in collaboration with Selene Femat and Arturo Carbo as part of the course "Architectural Projects IV".

The project is located in the Santa Lucía Walkway, one of the main touristic attractions in Monterrey's downtown. It is a mix-use building which form resembles the structure of a tree, composed of the main stem and the branches. It uses sustainable applications such as a rainwater collection system and biogas as the energy source.

The project has a 3 different apartment sizes, a commercial area, a restaurant, and a vertical garden that supplies food to the restaurant and an organic food market.  Each housing unit has access to green roofs that serve as social areas and as domestic orchards.
