This project was done in collaboration with Gerardo Martínez and Héctor Castillo as part of the course "Capstone Project II".

 

The mix-use building offers the opportunity to live and work in the same place. The dwellers of "Torre Marfil" have access to different amenities such as a bar-terrace, a gym, an events hall, a pool, lounge, and meeting rooms. The terrace of the building has a great view towards the "Sierra Madre", one of the main natural treasures of the city.

 

The configuration of the building responds to the site shape; the green area serves as a separation the building and the avenue, protecting the dwellers and workers from the traffic noise.
